The overview screen.

What each card on the overview means, where its numbers come from, and what to do about each one.

The overview shows what needs attention in your workspace and how the assistant is doing. Every number is a count of real conversations, requests, sources and follow-ups at the moment the page loaded; nothing is estimated. Each card loads on its own, so if one cannot load it says so and the others still work.

Waiting for a person

Conversations where the visitor asked for someone from your team, or the assistant handed over, and nobody has taken them yet. The oldest wait is shown first. Open one, or open the inbox, to take it. The inbox opens on the Waiting tab.

Unassigned requests

Viewing, repair and callback requests that are still open (New, In progress or Awaiting visitor) and have no owner. Awaiting the visitor's confirmation counts requests where your team proposed a time and is waiting for the visitor. If no action is switched on, the card says requests are off.

Knowledge needing attention

Sources whose last refresh failed, and documents that could not be read. Open Knowledge to see the reason and the suggested fix for each. See Fixing knowledge sources that need attention.

Follow-ups due

Follow-ups due now for you: yours, the admins' when you are an owner or admin, and those for the available teammates.

Is the assistant helping?

Conversations started in the last 7 days:

  • Conversations: every conversation started in the period.
  • Answered by the assistant: conversations the assistant answered with no hand-over to a person.
  • Handed to a person: conversations that went to your team.
  • Knowledge gaps: open questions the assistant could not answer. Use Fill gaps to add FAQs for them.

Recent activity

New conversations, hand-overs and, for owners and admins, changes made in the workspace.

Finish setting up

Until setup is finished, a checklist shows what is left: knowledge, the look of the chat, installing it, trying it as a visitor and inviting your team. Each item is ticked from real data, for example installation is ticked only once a visitor has chatted from one of your allowed websites.

What needs my attention?

Look at the cards in this order: conversations waiting for a person, unassigned requests, follow-ups due for you, then knowledge needing attention. You can also ask Ask AI "What needs my attention?" for the same live figures in one answer.
