Follow-ups.

See the follow-ups due for you, add, snooze and complete them, and how the automatic follow-up rules work.

A follow-up is a reminder about a conversation or a request. It is for one person, for the admins, or for whoever on the team is available. When it falls due, the people it is for are notified.

See the follow-ups due for you

  1. Open Follow-ups in the menu. The badge shows how many are due for you.
  2. The Due now list opens first. Set For to Me (including the team’s).

Due for you means: follow-ups for you, those for the admins when you are an owner or admin, and those for the available teammates. The other lists are Upcoming, Done and Created by me.

Add a follow-up

Open a conversation in the inbox, or a request, and choose Add follow-up. Choose who it is for, when it is due, and an optional note.

Act on a follow-up

  • Done when it is dealt with.
  • Snooze to move it to a later time.
  • Cancel if it is no longer needed.

If a reminder could not be delivered, it shows "Reminder not delivered" in Due now with Try again.

Automatic follow-ups

Owners and admins can switch on three rules in Settings, Follow-ups: a request awaiting the visitor for a number of days, a conversation waiting for a person for a number of minutes during opening hours, and a request with no owner for a number of hours. The rules add follow-ups on their own and close them when the situation is resolved.
