Answer checks.

Answer checks are questions your customers ask, each with what a good answer must cite or say. Run them after you change your knowledge to catch wrong or missing answers before visitors do. Answer checks are on the Growth and Scale plans, for owners and admins.

Add a check

1. Open Answer checks in the menu.
2. Enter the Question as a customer would ask it, or choose Start from an example.
3. Add what a good answer must do: the Expected source, what The answer must say and The answer must never say, or tick Expect a hand-over when it should offer a person.
4. Choose Add check.

Run the checks

1. Open Answer checks.
2. Choose Run (it shows how many checks there are). Running them can take a minute.
3. Each result shows its requirements in words, the answer, the sources used, and what changed since the previous run, with links to fix the knowledge.

Checks run through the real answer pipeline as a dry run: nothing is sent to visitors. A pass is phrase matching, not proof that the whole answer is right, so read the answers too.
