Acceptable use policy.

Version: 1.0, 24 October 2026. Approved by Vitalos Technologies Limited.

This policy forms part of the Askbridge terms of service. It applies to customers, their users, and anyone else who uses Askbridge through a customer's workspace. It exists to protect visitors, other customers and the service.

1. Be honest with visitors

You must not:

  • remove, hide or obscure the AI label, or otherwise suggest that AI answers come from a person
  • give the assistant a human name or persona, or instruct it to claim to be human
  • prevent visitors from reaching a person, or pretend a person is available when nobody is
  • use Askbridge to mislead visitors about who you are, your prices, your products or their rights

2. Use content you are entitled to use

You must only:

  • add websites you own or control, or have permission to use for this purpose
  • upload files and write FAQs that you have the right to use

You must not use Askbridge to copy or republish other people's content without permission.

3. Personal and sensitive data

You must not:

  • upload files that contain personal data about your customers, staff or others, unless it is information you already publish (for example, staff names on a team page)
  • ask visitors for special category data (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation), criminal offence data, payment card details, passwords or government identifiers through the chat
  • direct the service at children or use it in a service mainly used by children without telling us first

4. Decisions and advice

You must not:

  • use Askbridge to make decisions about people that have legal or similarly significant effects on them (for example, approving credit, tenancies, insurance, employment or access to services)
  • present AI answers as regulated professional advice (for example legal, financial, tax, medical or immigration advice). If you are a regulated business, you are responsible for meeting your regulator's rules
  • use Askbridge for emergency or safety-critical services, or where a wrong answer could cause physical harm

5. Illegal or harmful use

You must not use Askbridge to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to
  • publish or send content that is defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights
  • send unsolicited marketing (spam), or collect contact details for marketing without the consent the law requires
  • deceive people into giving information (phishing) or money (fraud)

6. Protect the service

You must not:

  • try to get around plan limits, the bot check, rate limits or the AI usage cap, for example by scripting conversations
  • send automated traffic to the widget or APIs except as we allow
  • try to access another customer's workspace or data, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission
  • try to make the AI model reveal its instructions or produce content outside its purpose (prompt injection), except in your own workspace for testing
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the service, except where the law allows
  • resell, sublicense or white-label Askbridge without an agreement with us
  • interfere with or overload the service or its providers

7. Report problems

If you find a security issue, please tell us at support@vitalos.co.uk with "Security" in the subject and do not exploit it. If you see Askbridge being misused on another website, please tell us.

8. What we do about breaches

We may investigate suspected breaches. Depending on how serious they are, we may warn you, remove content, switch off AI answers, suspend the workspace or end the agreement, as set out in the terms of service. Where the law requires, we may report illegal activity to the authorities. We will normally tell you first, unless it is urgent or the law prevents it.

9. AI model provider policies

Askbridge uses Anthropic's AI models. Uses that Anthropic's usage policy prohibits are also prohibited on Askbridge.
